With optional 1 night pre cruise hotel and sightsee package in Vancouver June 3rd

Join us for a glorious visit to two of the most stunning places in the world.

This tour gives you the best of both worlds!

Only 2 rooms left !

Description: http://z.about.com/d/gocalifornia/1/0/Y/p/IMG_3686-a.jpg

We will start with our optional 1 night pre cruise program in Vancouver Canada on June 3rd.  With a free afternoon and evening to enjoy its scenic harbor front and a half day morning tour of the stunning Capilano Suspension Bridge Park., you will be amazed by Vancouver’s beauty.

Next it’s our 7 day cruise from Vancouver visiting the scenic Inside Passage, the quaint Alaska towns of Ice Strait Point, Ketchikan and Juneau, plus a day cruise along the amazing Hubbard Glacier to watch the enormous icebergs and incredible action of glacier fragments frequently breaking off and hitting the ocean – an incredible display for the eyes and ears!

Alaska’s Hubbard Glacier is the largest glacier on the North American continent. The glacier routinely calves (breaks) large icebergs as high as 10-story buildings, sending massive blocks of ice into the sea every few minutes, creating a dramatic show for your eyes and ears!

In each of our ship’s ports we visit, our group’s passengers will have the opportunity to enjoy an optional private group excursion, or sign up for optional ship sponsored excursions.

Finally, as our cruise ship returns to Vancouver, we will take a short one hour nonstop flight from Vancouver to Calgary and then be whisked off on a short 90 minute drive to the incomparable Canadian Rockies where we will enjoy three nights with amazing sightseeing of the Rockies, highlighted by stunning lakes, waterfalls & mountains, as well as a fabulous wildlife safari in Banff National Park on the final evening.

DAILY ITINERARY

OPTIONAL 1 NIGHT PRE CRUISE HOTEL AND SIGHTSEEING PACKAGE
SATURDAY JUNE 3RD – Arrive on your own flight arrangement into Vancouver and make your way to our group’s hotel.

We will be staying at the first class Century Plaza hotel, ideally located in the heart of Downtown Vancouver, less than one mile from the fabulous waterfront Canada Place and its great shops, restaurants and cruise ships.

After checking in, take a stroll along the scenic waterfront, shop and dine at your leisure. We will have a brief orientation this evening at our hotel to enable everyone to meet and greet each other.

SUNDAY JUNE 4TH – This morning we will enjoy a fabulous tour of Capilano Suspension Bridge Park.  We will be picked up at our hotel and driven approx. 30 minutes to the park.

Capilano Suspension Bridge Park is one of the most popular tourist attractions in Vancouver, British Columbia. The reason is simple, there are so many amazing things to see and do at Capilano including walks across its natural suspension bridges, walks through its pristine lush green rainforest, walks amongst giant totem poles and even a thrilling cliff walk along a cantilevered walkway above a dramatic canyon.  All attractions are included, so you choose which you wish to enjoy and the pace at which you wish to do so.

Follow in the footsteps of the millions of visitors who have crossed Capilano Suspension Bridge since 1889. Voices from Vancouver’s past mingle with the sounds of nature, beautiful gardens skirt time-worn British Columbia First Nations totem poles and Capilano Suspension Bridge takes you to the serenity of a West Coast rainforest.  Originally built in 1889, Capilano Suspension Bridge stretches 450 feet (137m) across and 230 feet (70m) above Capilano River

CLIFFWALK is the park’s newest attraction – a cantilevered walkway clinging to the granite cliff high above Capilano Canyon. Treetops Adventure, seven suspension bridges through the evergreens taking you up to 100 feet (30m) above the forest floor, offers a unique squirrel’s eye perspective of the forest. Guided nature tours, the Rainforest Explorer program and the Living Forest exhibit enhance this unique rainforest encounter. Enjoy seasonal musical entertainment and First Nations culture. Take photos at the Totem Park and with the Capilano Tramps. Top it off with a visit to the gift shop full of quality merchandise from all over Canada and great homemade fudge.
The shuttles back to the hotel leave every 30 minutes so you can spend as long as you wish exploring the self guided and self paced attractions at Capilano.

This afternoon we will check out of our hotel and all can take the short ride or walk to the cruise ship, less than a mile away.  We will board our ship for the start of our glorious 7 day Alaska sightseeing cruise and then the afternoon is at leisure to relax.
