DAY 2: Sat. Nov. 25th - SANTIAGO DE CUBA

Welcome to Santiago de Cuba, capital of the island’s “Wild East” and its glittering cultural nerve center, one that’s core to the evolution of Cuban architecture, literature and music. Our first stop is the African Cultural Center, Fernando Ortiz, where we’ll meet with local director Dr. Martha Cordié Jackson and enjoy a traditional dance performance – And after the performance we'll meet with the dancers.
We’ll then stroll through the Patio of the Artisans and to Conga Gallery and its collection of contemporary Cuban art. Our next stop is the Loma de San Juan and its manicured grounds.
This is the site of the only land battle of the Spanish-American War where, on July 1, 1898, flanked by his rough riders, Teddy Roosevelt led a victorious cavalry charge against the Spanish. Loma de San Juan is also the home of the Unknown Mambi Soldier. Our tour continues through this fascinating city along its most famous avenues. We will pass the University of Oriente and visit the former Moncada Barracks, Revolution Square and El Morro Castle - built at the end of the 17th century, the castle occupies a promontory high above the sea.

Start your day with an introduction to the unique instruments that make Cuban music so distinctive and infectious. Our Cuban musicians will demonstrate a number of traditional Cuban instruments, including bongos, the claves and the Tres, Cuba’s famed three-string guitar.
Morning: A Taste of Cuba: How to "mix and match" the Most Mouthwatering Dishes by our destination expert.
Join us for a Cuban cooking lesson and learn about some of the unique gems endemic to Cuban cuisine. You’ll learn how to take fresh ingredients and create incomparable tastes that burst with the flavors of Cuba. Our chef will show you how Creole and Spanish cuisine blend to create the authentic, singular Cuban gastronomic experience loved all over the world.

DAY 4: Monday Nov. 27th - HAVANA
Arrive: 9:30 AM
Morning: Cuban Life Lecture.
Join us for a lecture where we will have the unique opportunity to learn and discuss about topics on which Cuba excels, such as social security, family code and agricultural co ops.
Morning: “Real Taste of Havana” Tour.
The old city center comprises a breathtaking mix of Baroque and neoclassical monuments and a homogeneous ensemble of private houses with arcades, balconies, wrought-iron gates and internal courtyards. Come meander along the narrow streets of this fascinating city with our expert guide, who will regale you with tales of this magical city’s storied history.
We begin with a walking tour of the historical center of Old Havana (“Habana Vieja”), where we’ll see the Royal Forces Castle, Saint Fransis of Assisi Square, the Cathedral Square , the Old Square and Arms Square.
We’ll have the opportunity to see and buy old books in all languages and interact with the book sellers.
Afternoon: “More of Authentic Havana” Tour.
This Panoramic tour includes a photo stop at the famed Old Capital Building, then we drive past Revolution Museum, The Fine Arts Museum, The Parque Central (Central Park) and the Gran Teatro de Havana. We then stop at Revolution Square for some free time and a photos - you’ll find the Jose Marti Memorial, the National Library and the Revolution Palace here.
We leave Revolution Square to continue our tour with a drive past some of Old Havana’s most important buildings, the University of Havana and its escalinata (stairway) and the Alma Mater statue, La Rampa; the Coppelia ice cream parlor, the Yara movie theater and the Habana Libre hotel. We end our tour at San Jose Market for more free time and the market’s unique shops and hospitable vendors.
Optional night time excursions on Day 4 – Havana
Our ship spends the night of day 4 docked overnight in Havana and here our ship offers a few optional night time excursions to experience the nightlife of Havana Cuba.
The internationally known Tropicana is the biggest nightclub in Havana. Every night, more than 200 dancers and singers perform on stage, accompanied by a giant orchestra. Your price includes the show with preferred seating, welcome drink, and a quarter bottle of Havana Club rum with drink mixers and snacks.
Buena Vista Social Club Tribute
Revel in this incredible tribute show to the Buena Vista Social Club, a spectacular act with world-class performers. See salsa and bolero numbers performed by some of the original Buena Vista Social Club members and Grammy-award winners.
City Tour at Night with Dinner:
Step back in time, deep into Old Havana and its fortifications, as you take a night tour of its spectacular plazas – each with its own architectural character: including the Plaza de Armas, Castillo de la Real Fuerza, the Plaza de la Catedral and the Old Square. Then depart for the Fortaleza De San Carlos De La Cabana, to witness a ceremonial cannon shot, signaling the closure of the city gates. Then, head to one of Havana’s famous Paladares for dinner.
These excursions can be booked once you have boarded the ship on day one, or any time thereafter, based on availability. All passengers will also receive an email with the option to sign up for these excursions 2 weeks prior to travel.
DAY 5: Tues. Nov. 28th - HAVANA

Morning: “More of Real Havana” Tour.
Old Havana and its fortifications are a UNESCO World Heritage site. The city was founded in 1519 by the Spanish, and by the 17th century it had become one of the Caribbean's main centers for ship-building. Our “More of the Real Havana” Tour features a visit to the Fine Arts Museum and the famed “Museo de la Revolución” (The Museum of the Revolution). Housed in the former Presidential Palace, the museum is devoted to the revolutionary war of the 1950s and to the country's post-1959 history. Following the Museo de la Revolución we will make a stop to marvel at some of the outdoor installations of legendary Cuban ceramicist and graphic artist Jose Fuster, a pioneer of Cuban visual art. We then return on board Celestyal Crystal.
Afternoon: Visual Arts in Cuba.
Join us for a brief discussion of the vibrant visual art scene in Cuba so we can immerse you to some of Havana’s incredible museums and the outdoor installations. Influenced by both Latin America and Europe, Cuba’s vibrant culture and arts are the core to the country’s authenticity and to the life of its people.
Evening: Dance Like a Cuban.
Come join us for a selection of beautiful Cuban dances and live Cuban music by the “Latin Souls” band. We will take you through the steps - by the end of the hour, you’ll feel as if your feet aren’t touching the dance floor.
DAY 6: Wed. Nov. 29th – Cuban Culture at Sea
Morning: “El Ajiaco” Cultural Briefing by our destination expert.
El Ajiaco is a hearty Cuban stew which has been eaten on the island since the 1500s! It's a mix of chicken, pork spare ribs, corn, malanga (yellow taro), plantains, yucca, Cuban boniato and pumpkin! Join us to discuss the ways in which the authentic Cuba you’ll experience ashore is similar to this legendary meal, a mix of diverse accents, myths, races and religions all stewed together - and to perfection!
Morning: Cooking Demonstration - Cuban Festive Dishes.
Join us for a Cuban cooking lesson and discover some of the many gems of Cuban cuisine. You will learn how to take fresh ingredients and create incomparable tastes that burst with the flavors of Cuba. Our chef will show you how some of the most popular Cuban festive dishes are prepared.
Afternoon: Enjoy other discussions of Cuban culture or just Relax and enjoy the sunshine on the sundeck of our ship.

The mambo is a fast ballroom dance of Cuban origin - it’s rhythmically similar to the rumba and cha-cha-cha, but its pattern of steps is more complex. Don’t worry, though - we will help you through it.
DAY 7: Thursday Nov. 30th - CIENFUEGOS
Arrive: 7:00 AM - Depart: 3:00 PM
Morning: Cienfuegos City Tour.
You will have the unique opportunity to visit Cienfuegos, a 19th century planned city and a UNESCO World Heritage site. “The Pearl of the South”, this colonial gem was founded in 1819. Situated on the Caribbean coast of southern-central Cuba at the heart of the country’s sugar cane, mango, tobacco and coffee production area, the town first developed in the neoclassical style - it became more eclectic as it grew but still retained a harmonious overall townscape. We then stop at the Graphic Society of Cienfuegos, where we’ll meet with local artists and view their prints - the society is beloved by the people of Cienfuegos for its programs for children with special needs. Our tour continues at Project Trazos Libres: artist Santiago Hermes Martinez converted his family home into an art collective in 2009 to support local artists and collaborate with them - get ready to view unique handicrafts, murals, photographs and traditional costumes.
We will then enjoy a panoramic view of Cienfuegos, before we visit the magnificent Teatro Thomas Terry: built between 1887 and 1889 to honor Venezuelan industrialist Tomás Terry, this 950-seat opera house and theater is decorated with Carrara marble and hand-carved Cuban hardwoods. After Teatro Thomas Terry we’ll return to Celestyal Crystal.

Day 8 - Friday December 1st – Today we disembark the ship in Montego Bay. We will be transferred to the Sunscape Splash all Inclusive Resort in Montego Bay Jamaica for our 2 night post cruise all inclusive stay.
The remainder of the day is at leisure to enjoy all of the amenities of the resort.

Dunns River Falls is the only waterfalls in the world where not only can you see an incredible site from the base of the falls, but if you wish, you can also take a professionally guided walk up a path through the falls to witness the feeling of truly being in the falls and on top of the falls.
The local Jamaican Dunns River Falls guide will professionally guide us on the path up the falls, stopping at various points for professional photos and photos of your own if you wish.
If you don’t wish to take the guided walk to the top, you can enjoy playing at the base of the falls.

A deposit of $400 is due on any cabin category within 7 days of booking. This deposit is refundable by Monday April 24th.
If canceled between Monday April 24th and Friday June 2nd the deposit is transferable to another trip in 2017.
If canceled after June 2nd the deposit is non refundable nor transferrable.
Balance payment is due August 15th and is non refundable
Travel insurance for this trip is mandatory, as it is a requirement to enter Cuba. You may choose to purchase travel insurance on your own or if you prefer, you may purchase it through our office, any time between February 1st until your final payment is made (the final payment for the trip is due August 15th). Travel insurance is also available through the cruise line for just $49 per person and covers just medical expenses incurred during your cruise. It covers Medical and hospitalization expenses in Cuba up to $100,000 for anyone 75 and younger at the time of the cruise, or for anyone over 75 it covers the same if the medical expense is the result of an accident (for instance someone over 75 falling and breaking their leg would be covered as an accident, but the same person over 75 having a heart attack would not be covered).
This insurance does not cover if you need to cancel your trip and does not cover anything that may happen during the Jamaica segment of the trip. It also does not cover pre-existing medical conditions.
